oh wow! so pretty...like the facial expression of the lady. whats the thing on the dude's forehead? (referring to the black...stuff) maybe i shoudl know some backgroudn since it is fantasy, but..^^ curious

This is absolutely amazing. Her eyes are so captivating it is almost eery. Great caption of her fragile and innocent character (based on her being the maiden). Flip it around and her being both death and the maiden this is piece even more captivating. The very essence of the maiden and the death is excellently portrayed in this piece. Ah, I could go on forever. Anyhow: Keep this good work up!

thanks :) the title of the painting is "Death and the Maiden" - so I had to add something nasty to the guy's face to make him look more...dead
